Introduction to Management

Peter Drucker, one of the founders of modern management, wrote that the study of management could revive the liberal arts. He said this because he saw management as a liberal art firmly resting upon the other liberal arts.
He also wrote that good management was necessary to the existence of free institutions.
This course begins with a reading of Good to Great by James Collins; then proceeds to How the Mighty Fall by the same. The course concludes with Management: Tasks, Responsibilities, Practices by Peter Drucker.
