This course begins with a brief introduction to perspective drawing--drawing being the grammar of this subject. It then proceeds to a study of A World History of Architecture by Michael Fazio and Marrien Moffet, with a special focus on the classical and neo-classical traditions. The course concludes with a study of Peter Calthorpe's The Next American Metropolis: Ecology, Community, and the American Dream.
